Our Commitment
Guardian Watch, Inc. is committed to making its Website and digital information accessible and usable for the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Accessibility supports Guardian Watch’s mission of inclusion, educational opportunity, advocacy, and community service.
Accessibility Goal
Guardian Watch’s goal is to improve the Website in alignment with generally recognized digital accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Website content, third-party tools, embedded media, documents, and technology may change over time, so Guardian Watch intends to review and improve accessibility as the Website evolves.
Measures We Aim to Support
Guardian Watch seeks to support accessible Website experiences by using clear page structure and headings; readable text and sufficient visual contrast; meaningful link text; keyboard-accessible navigation and controls; text alternatives for meaningful images; captions, transcripts, or other alternatives for important video and audio content when feasible; labels and instructions for forms; descriptive page titles; logical focus order; responsive layouts; and content that can be understood without relying solely on color, sound, or visual position.
Guardian Watch also encourages content editors and Website administrators to consider accessibility whenever new pages, photographs, videos, PDFs, forms, event information, or other digital materials are added.
Known Limitations and Third-Party Content
Some older content, archived materials, embedded videos, social media features, third-party applications, external websites, or documents may not fully meet Guardian Watch’s accessibility goals. Third-party platforms are controlled by their respective providers.
When Guardian Watch becomes aware of an accessibility barrier in content it controls, it will seek to evaluate and address the issue within a reasonable period based on the nature of the problem, available technology, and organizational resources.
Alternative Access
If you cannot access information, complete a form, view media, or use a Website feature because of a disability, Guardian Watch will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service through an alternative method when feasible. Examples may include providing information by telephone, supplying an accessible electronic version, or assisting with a Website inquiry.
Accessibility Feedback
Guardian Watch welcomes feedback about the accessibility of its Website. When reporting a problem, please identify the page or feature involved, describe the accessibility barrier, and, if you are comfortable doing so, note the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using. This information can help Guardian Watch investigate the issue.
